The URF-P5 Flexible Ureteroscope features our proprietary Evolutiontip, which
allows a smooth atraumatic introduction and navigation through the urinary tract,
while the 180° and 275° (up/down) deflection provides sufficient angulation to reach
all areas of the kidney, including the lower pole calices. Even with
a 200 micron fiber, sufficient angulation is achievable, allowing urologists
to diagnose and fragment kidney stones with efficiency and confidence. Additionally,
the newly designed, proprietary fiber-optic bundle and integrated moiré filter produces
one of the best and brightest images in the market. While the new insertion
tube enhances torsion control, virtually providing a one-to-one ratio from the control
section to the tip of the scope for improved maneuvering within the calices of the
kidney.
